Each Month = One Letter, One Hero, One Virtue

Letters for Little Heroes helps parents raise children of good character through the timeless power of story.

Each month, families receive a beautifully illustrated letter telling the true story of a historical hero — and the virtue they embodied — so children can practise it at home.

Character Is Destiny

Children are surrounded by information. But information does not form character. Character forms through training, repetition, and practice.

Aristotle believed true happiness (eudaimonia) comes from living with virtue. Letters for Little Heroes brings twelve of Aristotle's essential virtues to life through the real stories of history's great heroes, helping children grow into confident, resilient, and genuinely happy humans.

What Families Say

Why We Created Little Heroes

As a teacher with a masters degree in neuropsychology for primary education, I (the mother) was disappointed with how little the school system cares for character.

As parents, we wanted to create something we could share with our children that they would not only enjoy but, over time, would help form them into good people. We love stories with a moral core, and now we write the letters we wished existed.

Each month, we send the stories we read to our own children, and the exercises we share with them to practice each virtue.

We hope you enjoy sharing them with your family as much as we do with ours.
